If you want to get your hands on the powerful but expensive Microsoft products such as Visual Studio 2008, Windows Server 2003 or Microsoft Expression Studio but are worried about the steep price? If yes then you can get these products for free(yes, I am telling the truth), the only condition that you will have to fulfill is that you are a student of an accredited school,university or an organization. This is courtesy of Microsoft’s program called DreamSpark that allows free access to all the professional developer and designer tools without any charges to students.
Currently this offer is only valid for United States, United Kingdom, Canada, China, Germany, France, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Belgium but more countries will be added throughout the year. So check their website on a regular basis incase you are not a student in one of the above mentioned countries.
To get these products for free you are not required to do much as you only need a valid Windows Live ID. Login with this ID and then get yourself verified as a student and you are done. Now you will be able to download these professional software packages for free! So friends if you are eligible and want to built the next big-thing(after Windows) using MS Visual Studio 2008 then hurry-up and claim your share.
