Download Entire Facebook Photo Albums With 1 Click in Firefox!

With the massive increase in Facebook popularity in a short period and also because of its social appeal & coolness factor every one is uploading photos from their family events, trip, a birthday party and so on to their Facebook profile for others in their social circle to view (and make comments).  On Facebook all the photos with the same theme can be put in to the same album. While it is convenient to view these photos from the Facebook web interface, it is not that convenient if you want to download and save all photos from an album locally on your own computer for archival purposes or for later viewing. In fact it is a cumbersome process if you decide to do so. But not anymore as we have an extension for Firefox that makes the downloading entire photo albums from Firefox a 1 click process!

FacePAD | Download Entire Facebook Photo Albums With 1 Click in Firefox!

I am referring to an extension called FacePAD that makes this process a breeze. It is a very simple extension that when installed adds an option “Download Album with FacePAD” on relevant links of any album you view in Facebook.

Here are a more instructions on its use:

DOWNLOADS ALBUMS (FRIEND’S, FAN PAGE)
(1) To download photos from a friend’s/fan page album, right-click (with your mouse) on the name/link of the Facebook album of interest and click the DOWNLOAD ALBUM WITH FACEPAD option.
(2) A window will pop-up asking you to choose a directory/folder where you would like the photos to be stored.
(3) The photos will then be downloaded and renamed in sequential, ascending order, where the order is determined by the age of the photo.

DOWNLOADS ALBUMS (GROUP, EVENT)
(1)To download photos from the group/event album, click on the photo tab in said group/event. At the top, where it says SEE ALL PHOTOS, right-click (with your mouse) on this link and click DOWNLOAD ALBUM WITH FACEPAD option.
(2) A window will pop-up asking you to choose a directory/folder where you would like the photos to be stored.
(3) The photos will then be downloaded and renamed in sequential, ascending order, where the order is determined by the age of the photo.

You can install FacePAD extension for Firefox from here.
