We have already reported that upcoming iPhone 5 will use the A5 chip that supports multiple cores and also the graphics subsystem will supported by the dual-core SGX543 GPU. Now AppleInsider is reporting that SGX543 will give about 4X improvement in graphical power over the A4′s single core SGX535 GPU that is present in the current generation iPhone 4 and iPad. This should really allow the upcoming iPad to support the Retina Display. It is also assumed that new generation Apple devices will support the HDMI output as much more powerful SGX543 GPU should be able to handle this, particularly considering that many high end smartphones appearing in the market these days based on the Google Android does support HDMI. We can’t be more excited to feel this much power in our hands!
