Android Market on Web | Web Client for the Android Market is Now Live With Over the Air Installation Support!

We have just learned that Google has released (at last) a very nice web client for their Android Market. Guess what? – it is already live and you can access it at this URL and do the digging for the applications and games to your hearts content. In fact. web interface seems pretty clean and navigation through the interface is straight forward. There are two major categories Game and Program. Each of these main categories are then subdivided in to number of subcategories. At the top you can select either to show the top paid applications or top freeware for both games and programs. After selecting the desired application you can make application purchases and then the most exciting part starts! These applications info will automatically be transferred to you Android phone wirelessly – over the air (OTA) and initiate the downloading and installation process.

Google is also promising that in-app purchase feature is also coming very soon to the Android Market. Biggest reason seems to be the push from the application developers for this.
