Sony Releases an Official Statement on PlayStation 3 Hacking

These days Sony is busy with fighting against Geohot. In the mean time while this war continues Sony has come up with an official statement against the use of PS3 Circumvention Devices by it’s users. Here is an excerpt from what Sony had to say:

Consumers using circumvention devices or running unauthorized or pirated software will have access to the PlayStation Network and access to Qriocity services through PlayStation 3 system terminated permanently.
To avoid this, consumers must immediately cease use and remove all circumvention devices and delete all unauthorized or pirated software from their PlayStation 3 systems.

In other word they are warning that if a user gets caught using PS3 Circumvention Devices or pirate software he (or she) will be ceased from the PlayStation Network forever. Well, let’s see if Geohot or PS3 fan boys has something to say on this!
