Clear cache | Use Clear Cache to Quickly Clear Firefox Cache with a Shortcut Key or a Toolbar ButtonIt is not unusual to build up a big cache after a heavy duty browsing session in Firefox. This might lead to slower browsing experience and also increases the memory consumption of the browser. Of course these problems can be sorted out if you are willing to restart the browser. However, if you are in the middle of something then this might not be the best solution. Clear Cache is very simple Firefox extension that after installation allows to quickly clear the cache of your browser by hitting the F9 key on your keyboard. Alternatively a user can place the Clear Cache button installed by the extension on the Firefox toolbar and use that to achieve the same functionality. Of course you can even clear the cache of your browser without this extension by digging through your the Firefox preferences panel but this extension makes it much more convenient and faster.

You can download the Clear cache Firefox extension from here. It is also compatible with the latest Firefox 4.o betas.
