If you ever felt frustrated or annoyed with the need of connecting USB data cable to your computer and iPhone (or any other iOS device) and then sync the phone data to iTunes? If yes then I should tell you that you are in a treat with a new Cydia store application that allows to wirelessly synchronize your iOS devices and iTunes (on Windows or Mac) either over Wi-Fi or 3G! Well, if you sync your iOS device much less frequently say once a week then this application might not be as useful but for the others that do this say a dozen time in a week or more, for them it is a godsend. Please note that a jailbroken iPhone is required as you might have sensed already.
It is called Wi-Fi Sync and it is available for a price of $9.99 in Cydia store. For the great deal of connivance that brings for you I think this price is not that much to ask. After installation you also need to download and install a free client application on the desktop (available for Windows and Mac). Afterwards, you will need to authorize Wi-Fi Sync on your desktop computer. Now get the passcode from the desktop application and enter on your iOS device to authorize. Once it is done you can use the application on your iOS device to sync with the click of a button from a car, bed or a chair whatever suits you! No cables are needed anymore for this very basic and one of the most important iOS device management tasks!
