Despite all the praise iOS gets for it’s polished interface and consistency in the interface design, there are are indeed some of the few weak spots that need attention from Apple. One of the most noticeable weaknesses is iOS push notification system that is pretty rigid and can sometimes be annoying. This is because whenever there is an alert it pops up right in the middle and takes away the focus – no matter which application you are running. Furthermore, there is really no way to configure it or change it’s behavior. If you have a jailbroken iPhone or any other iOS device then you are in luck!

This is because today we are going to tell you about an application called MobileNotifier that makes the iOS notification system a much more pleasant experience. For example, whenever there is a notification it pops up only at the top edge of the screen, and without stealing the focus from the currently running application. All of these messages are stacked neatly in a AlertDashboard, which appears in the unused space above the app switcher that can be accessed with a double-tap on Home button.
