WindowsLive | How to Setup Hotmail & Windows Live Syncing on Your iPhone for Email, Calendar and Contacts ? [4 Step Guide] Although, from last couple of years Gmail has started to pick up the steam, and is now one of the most used email services in the world. However, Hotmail despite an apparent loss in it’s dominance from good old days is still pretty popular. Of course, if you have an iPhone it is not a problem to access your Gmail account there. Right? But interestingly many of the loyal Hotmail users don’t know they can also access their email on the iPhone. Actually, it is not that difficult to setup your hotmail account on the iPhone. As a bonus you will also be able to sync your hotmail Contacts and Calendar!

So here is the process:

Step 1: First go to the Setting –> Mail, Contacts, Calendar and create a new Microsoft Exchange account on your iPhone.

Step 2: Fill out your account information such as email address, username and password. Leave the domain field empty. After this press on the next button.

Step 3: Now hotmail will verify your account. After verification it will ask for the server info, here enter the and press on the Next.

Step 4: Now on the next screen select what you want to sync – select from Mail, Contacts, Calendar and hit on the Save button.

Step 5: Now you are done. Enjoy!

The same method should also work for the Windows Live email addresses as well.
