Apple’s iMovie application has added support for the iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G and iPad 2. But for some reason no support is added for the original iPad 1. But MacRumors has posted a nice trick that allows to force install the iMovie application even on the first gen iPad using the iPhone Configuration Utility!
Just follow the these simple steps:
Step 2: Now launch the iPhone Configuration Utility and navigate to the "Applications" and then open iMovie (iTunes –> Mobile Applications)
Step 3: Connect iPad 1 (first generation) select it under listing of “Devices”.
Step 4: Finally select the "Applications" tab and then click on the "Install" button to install iMovie 1.2 on your iPad!
