Windows 7 was released with many great new features. Most of these fall in to the visual eye candy and refinements to the GUI to have a smoother experience for it’s users as compared to the Windows Vista. In particular, Windows 7 taskbar got a big bump in terms of new functionality. One of the new features was the introduction of the real-time taskbar preview for the running application with their buttons listed in the taskbar. Regarding this functionality a problem that many of the users might have noticed is that the default taskbar preview provided in Windows 7 is really small and sometimes not very convenient to pinpoint a specific window of an application. This is a problem in particular when you have many open windows of an application stacked side-by-side, and they apparently look similar with the small tab bar preview provided by the Windows 7.
Fortunately this problem can be fixed with a small, free and best of all portable application called Windows 7 Taskbar Big Preview that enables bigger live taskbar previews in Windows 7. Just download the application and execute. Then click on the “Enable Big Live Preview” to enable this feature. After clicking it will prompt you to restart the Windows. After the restart this feature will be available imediately.
Windows 7 Taskbar Big Preview is free download from the developer website.
