Although, somewhat old fashioned by todays standards particularly when you have tablets like iPad 2 and Motorola Xoom but still very functional and capable Samsung Galaxy Tab with it’s capable 1GHz CPU is very popular, and being used by many people around the world. Since it is based on the Android OS, you can get the most out of it by rooting to flash the custom ROMs, install Market and non-Market applications and enable many other features that only available on the rooted devices. Fortunately method to root it is not that difficult at all.

*Caution: Please note that we are NOT responsible if you end up bricking your device or make it unusable in any other way. So, proceed at your own responsibility!

Just follow these simple steps to root Samsung Galaxy Tab:

Step 1: First make sure that you download the Samsung Kies software and install it.

Step 2: Make sure to connect your device to the PC at least once before proceeding.

Step 3: Now download SuperOneClick tool that allows to do one step rooting for many Android based devices.

Step 4: Now go to Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging to enable USB debugging on your tablet.

Step 5: Connect your Galaxy Tab to the PC and press the Home button to exit the Kies application.

Step 6: Finally, on the computer launch the SuperOneClick,software and then click on Root and then wait for the device to be rooted.

Step 7: Enjoy!
