amazon kindle 3 | How to Easily Read Google Books on Your Kindle Device ? [Tips]Kindle is a portable E-reader introduced by Amazon that allows to read all kinds of E-books, websites, blogs, magazines and other digital media in the comfort of your hand. But if you want to read Google Books on your Kindle then there is a problem! As you might know that many public domain books on the Google books can be downloaded by the user. Only problem is that they are in the EPUB format which is not compatible with the Kindle native format. But there are some tools available that allows to convert these books in to the Kindle native format.

One of the most advanced tools available particularly for the real E-book junkies is Calibre. It is basically a e-books reader and a e-books manager. But one of the many features that it has is a massive format conversion support both for input and output.

Take a look for your self:

Input Formats: CBZ, CBR, CBC, CHM, EPUB, FB2, HTML, LIT, LRF, MOBI, ODT, PDF, PRC**, PDB, PML, RB, RTF, TCR, TXT

Output Formats: EPUB, FB2, OEB, LIT, LRF, MOBI, PDB, PML, RB, PDF, TCR, TXT

For us as a Kindle user that matters the most is the support of EPUB as the input format (in addition to the CBZ, CBR comic book formats) and MOBI and PDF as the output formats both of which are handled easily by the Kindle. Calibre will allow to sync these E-book files to you Kindle device via USB or by setting itself as a server. It makes the transfer much easier assuming that library of all of our e-books is already in the Calibre.

If you don’t want to use the relatively complicated but powerful Calibre software then you can achieve the same using the RetroRead, web service that allows to convert the Google Books from the EPUB format to the more Kindle friendly format.
