Since the time Windows 8 has leaked to the Internet there is a lot of information coming our way about new features that Microsoft is planning to bake in the stable builds of the Windows 8. Previously we have reported on the integration of the built-in PDF reading capabilities in Windows 8 as well as the use of ribbon based user interface to be employed now system-wide. We also mentioned that latest OS from Microsoft is expected to include a built-in webcam capture application. We also looked at an interesting new feature called Portable Workspace in Windows 8 that will allow to run the OS from a thumb drive.
In the wake of a large set of these new features it important to understand that most of them are hidden in the leaked build of the Windows 8. But many adventurous users for sure want to have a go on these nifty new features. Of course there are many tricks floating around the Internet that allows to enable these features. But most of them involve the use of registry modifications/hacks which is not very convenient.
Now the users that are testing this leaked build of Windows 8 can use a tool called Windows 8 Tweaker that allows to enable most of the hidden features in the Windows 8 by the click of button! As you can see from the screenshot below users have the choice to enable the Windows explorer ribbon UI, enable Webcam application, enable built-in PDF reader or enable the modern task manger integrated in the latest leaked build of Windows 8. Note that many of these features are at an experimental stage and may by even buggy.
