Directly Download Latest iOS IPSW Firmwares and Get the Jailbreak Info Using ipswDownloader

If you are familiar with the usual jailbreak process then you already know that in most of these jailbreaking guides we need to first download the relevant iOS firmware that we want to jailbreak on our iDevice before proceeding any further. This downloading process can be streamlined, and can also be quicker using a tool called that ipswDownloader that allows to download the required firmware for your specific iDevice from the comfort of a simple desktop application. Not only that but you can also use this software to get the jailbreak info, e.g. if a specific iOS version has already been jailbroken on your device or not, and if it is then what tool will be needed to jailbreak it. Also similarly provides the unlock info for iPhone.

For now ipswDownloader is only available for the Mac OS X but we are hopeful that we will see something similar in the future for the Windows.
