After Windows 8 leaked to the Internet there is a lot of info about new features that Microsoft will bring in the stable builds of the Windows 8. Previously we have reported on the integration of the built-in PDF reading capabilities in Windows 8 as well as the use of ribbon based user interface to be employed now system-wide. We also mentioned that latest OS from Microsoft is expected to include a built-in webcam capture application. We also looked at an interesting new feature called Portable Workspace in Windows 8 that will allow to run the OS from a thumb drive. Finally we brought you a tool that allows to enable the hidden settings in Windows 8!
But for sure, not all the users are that adventurous, and may not want to take the headache to install and test a new system that is very unstable at the moment. For those kind of users there is a great news that a new tool called Windows 8 Skin Pack is available that allows to transform the looks and feel of your plain old Windows 7 to the shiny new but yet unreleased Windows 8. Apart from the skinning it also integrates some other applications such as Aura and Taskbar User Tile as we covered previously, to bring these features in to Widows 7 land. During the installation users have the option to disable the installation of some features which are not required.
