pwnage tool | Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 Untethered is Possible Using i0n1c Exploit! It is today that Apple has released the iOS 4.3.3 firmware, although there is nothing noticeable in this update except the fix for the user location cache buildup in the firmware that has been patched as we reported earlier. But a really good news for all of us jailbreakers is that, we have learned through Comex that indeed Apple has NOT patched the exploit that was used to get the untethered jailbreak originally on iOS 4.3.1, and then it was not patched in iOS 4.3.2 as we reported in the past. Even iOS 4.3.3 is vulnerable to this exploit, that means that we should soon see the updated tools such as RedSn0w and PwnageTool that will allow to get the untethered JB goodness on our iDevices!

In case, you are wondering we have already posted a guide on Jailbreaking iOS 4.3.3 on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touch, iPad Using Redsn0w in Windows and Mac.

Here is the tweet from the @comex about this info:

Furthermore, a tweet from @iphone_dev is worth mentioning, according to which all unlockers should stay away from the recent iOS 4.3.3, unless you are just looking for a jailbreaking solution.
