Photo Rescue is a useful little application for the users that lost their iPhone/iPod Touch (or any other iDevice) or somehow the device got damaged. In that case this app can help restore all the photos from an iTunes backup that you performed earlier. Note that this will only work for the non-encrypted iTunes backups which is the default. One drawback of the application for now is that it only works on the Mac. Let’s hope they develop a Windows version too, as most of the users are on the Windows platform anyway. There are two versions of the Photo Rescue available. Free version will let you see the previews of the recovered photos only. For the functionality such as the complete recovery of these photos, you will need to buy the full version that will cost you $4.99. You can get the free version from here.
