apple ipad 2 | An Update On iPad 2 Jailbreak and GreenPois0n RC6.2 Provided By Chronic Dev Team

I am sure, there are many iPad 2 owner out there that are waiting impatiently for proper jailbreak tool to be released for the Apple’s latest (& greatest) tablet. We heard a few days back from the @P0sixninja that a jailbreak for the iPad 2 is only weeks away from the release. This news got many tech websites excited on the internet.

After that now we have another update but now from the Chronic Dev Team (people behind the popular GreenPois0n JB tool). Unfortunately, still not any release date. So, conclude whatever, you can from the following statement by them:

As I’m sure many people have heard, Josh (p0sixninja) has recently been quoted saying the iPad 2 jailbreak is coming in “weeks”, I know I have been very publicly abrasive and non-commital on giving any kind of timeframe or comment on this matter, but at the behest of Josh (in conjunction with his need for a swift kick to the ass for motivation) we’re ALL going to hold him to that!!! I’m not going to get into extensive detail about this, but what I will say one of the missing puzzle pieces may have reared its head and cast a glance in our direction… take from that what you will.

On a further note, Chronic Dev Team have also decided to work on the GreenPois0n RC6.2 so that this popular tool can now work with the iOS 4.3.x. But this work will be at the lower priority as compared to the iPad2 jailbreak effort.
