VRTweaks | Install Useful Tweaks Such as Battery Limits, Google Talk Video Support, Prevent Full Charge Notification for Samsung Galaxy S2 (SII) via VillainTweaksVillainTweaks is nice compilation of some very useful tweaks/fixes for your Samsung Galaxy S2. Note that it requires a rooted device. You can follow our guide posted earlier to root your SG2. Furthermore, alternatively it is even better if you install a custom ROM called VillainROM (pre-rooted) to get all of the tweaks working that are available. If you go this route you are again covered as you can follow our step-by-step guide that we posted earlier to install the VillainROM on your Samsung Galaxy S2. Once these perquisites are out of the way let’s move to the set of tweaks that are provided by the VillainTweaks.

Below you can see the detailed list of tweaks that are available depending upon the which ROM you have on the device. As you can see that most tweaks are available if you are using the Villain ROM. This is the reason that we recommended above to install this custom ROM. Most interesting tweaks include Google Talk with video support on 3G, battery limits removal on camera and video player use, prevent notification and vibration when fully charged, Samsung Apps Update etc..

Note: Rooting, Jailbreaking or customizing your device can be risky, and you may end-up bricking your device! Follow the instructions posted here at your own responsibility as InspiredGeek will not be responsible for any damage to your device.

All you have to do is to install this SGS2-v1.3.1.apk file on your rooted SG2 phone and it will install the desired tweaks automatically. It’s that simple! Please be warned that it is still alpha and there might be some bugs here and there. It will make a backup of any files replaced in your SD card folder, under VRTweaks/backup. Not rely on this, as if you install a fix twice, it will overwrite your backup!
