Organize (Sort) iPhone/iPod Touch SpringBoard Icons in Most Used Order via SpringSorter

SpringSorter is quite a unique Cydia App that can come pretty handy for the users that have installed a lot of applications on their iDevice, and have to scroll through a lot of pages to find the desired program to launch. This application aims to minimize your flipping through these pages by allowing to move the most used applications in front on the earlier pages. This is done based on the usage statistics of the particular applications. So, the idea is that the applications that you use most often will be in first or second page. A user can also exclude pages from this sorting. Also, the sorting can be performed on single SpringBoard page instead of at a more global level. You can also create a backup of your SpringBoard icon layout and restore it later, if desired.

Here is a list of the features as provided by the developer:

- Rearrange your SpringBoard icons according to how much you use them
- Allows you to sort icons per page, or globally across all pages.
- Protect pages you don’t want to auto rearrange
- Set a minimum amount of application usage before starting to move it.
- Create a backup of your SpringBoard icon layout and restore it.
- Manual or on-the-fly operating modes.

Now for the bad part unfortunately it seems that the application hasn’t been updated for the iOS 4.x versions. So far I am unable to make it work on the iOS 4.3.3. This is a pity because this app seems so useful. Anyway here is the link to the further description of the SpringSorter by the developer. If you know about some application that can provide similar functionality on iOS DO let me know in the comments. Please note that this app is only meant to be for the jailbroken iDevices!
