I just stumbled across a very interesting comparison in terms of specs of the Nook Touch and some what less familiar for many Kobo Touch. Both are of course cheap devices and meant only to be used for book reading (unless you root your Nook Touch as we reported yesterday to install and play the Angry Birds!). As you might expect, specs are very similar except for one fundamental difference: Nook Touch uses the Android based OS while Kobo comes with the Linux based OS. In terms of the hardware specs Kobo is somewhat smaller in size (although only slightly). However, Nook Touch (NT) has a much longer battery life (at least on paper).
Have a look at the comparison table (courtesy of CrunchGear).

BTW, if you do own a Nook Touch, don’t forget to take a look at: Root Nook Touch: Kindle App, ADW Launcher, Angry Birds Installation Achieved & Working Bluetooth!
