A pretty common problem faced by many Android users particularly the ones that like to tinker a lot with their device such as flashing new custom ROMs is the loss of all the progress made in the installed games such as Angry Birds. As no data is backed up for these games. That means you have to start from scratch and that is not a good idea you know for such a lengthy and a difficult game! Here is a nice little trick to backup/restore your Angry Birds data on your Android device shared by mingkee from XDA forums. It should also work for the Angry Birds Seasons and Rio as well according to the developer.
So here we go:
Step 1: First make sure that you are rooted on your Android device for this to work! In case you are not please head over to the Rooting section for the Android devices on our website to find the suitable guide for your device.
Step 2: After rooting make sure to install the root explorer or any other file manager with similar functionality.
Step 3: Now navigate to /data/data/com.rovio.angrybirds (use corresponding names for seasons and rio)/files and copy these two files:
Step 4: Now go the device where you want to restore these files and pate them in the same location. Make sure to backup the original files first.
Step 5: This is a very important step. Make sure that both files have read/write access and NO EXECUTE (otherwise it will cause a reboot when you run the game!!).
