Twitter Timeline in iOS 5 Notification Center via WeeTwitter Widget

Brisk pace and competition among the developers continues to roll out the new widgets for the iOS Notification Center. It is just a few days have passed and already we have a handful of widget tweaks available for download for the iOS 5 Notification Center. Earlier, we reported about the UISettings and then WidgetTask widgets. Both of them are very useful of course for their intended purposes. Today is the time for an other cool widget for the Notification Center called WeeTwitter which puts the entire Twitter timeline including the mentions, retweets, replies and saved searches in to the Notification Center. This tweak comes courtesy of Tyler Flowers. WeeTwitter tweak is not yet available in Cydia but you can download it right now in the form of a deb file from here (Cydia apps are usually distributed in the deb format).

Note that the easiest way to install this tweak is using the iFile manager, after copying it somewhere in the internal storage and then navigating to that folder using the iFile manager to install and then re-spring.

Please note that you must have jailbroken iDevice on new iOS 5 beta for this tweak to work! Follow any of the following guides to do so:

- Jailbreak iOS 5 On iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad & iPod Touch Using Redsn0w 0.9.8 [Guide]

- Jailbreak iOS 5 in Windows On iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad & iPod Touch Using Redsn0w 0.9.8b1
