One Click Root and UnRoot For Samsung Galaxy S2 (SII)!

We have brought you a number of root methods for the Samsung galaxy S2 (SII) in the past, but it seems that lyriquidperfection from XDA forums has another one up to his sleeves! And this method seems to be the easiest one so far that I have seen. Basically he developed a windows tool that not only allows to to one click root but also allows to do unroot with a single click from with in the tool! This does seems to have some similarity to the SuperOneClick tool that we reviewed earlier. This tool also provides the options to reboot your device Normally, Into Download Mode or Into Recovery Mode after Rooting.

Basically what this tool does is, it installs the busybox, su, superuser on the device. And when you unroot these tools are removed from the device. However, there are a number of things to keep in mind before you jump to the bandwagon. First this requires the installation of an insecure kernel on the device. For example, you can use any of the kernels posted here. If you are beginner and don’t know how to flash an insecure kernel then please look at the guide:

CF-Root For Novice Samsung Galaxy S2 (SII) Users: Integrated CWM 3.0.0.5 & Rooted Stock Kernel [Guide], the method mentioned in this guide will install the secure kernel for you.

You can get the tool for One Click Root and UnRoot For Samsung Galaxy S2 (SII) from here. Please note that for this tool to work make sure that your device is in USB debugging mode: Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB debugging.
