As we reported moments ago that iOS 5 beta 2 has been released by Apple for all the supported devices. Many adventurous users might be wondering that if its possible to jailbreak this version of the iOS using the Redsn0w 0.9.8 tool that was released few weeks earlier to do the JB for the beta 1 version of the iOS 5. Well the good news is that according to the @MuscleNerd from the iPhone-dev-team the Redsn0w 0.9.8 can be used to jailbreak the iOS beta 2 as well! Only difference is that Redsn0w must be pointed to older iOS 5 beta 1 ipsw file for the jailbreak to work. This is indeed great news.
Here is the tweet from @MuscleNerd :

He further points-out that this jailbreak technique for iOS 5 should also work with the future beta versions as well. However, it should be noted again that jailbreak performed using the current version of the Redsn0w is tethered as of now.
If you are unsure about the process just follow the guides listed below that we published earlier (of course don’t forget that Redsn0w must be pointed to older iOS 5 beta 1 ipsw file for the jailbreak to work!). Otherwise all the steps are exactly the same:
– Jailbreak iOS 5 On iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad & iPod Touch Using Redsn0w 0.9.8 [Guide]
– Jailbreak iOS 5 in Windows On iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad & iPod Touch Using Redsn0w 0.9.8b1
