We have covered a number of widgets for the new iOS 5 Notification Center in a short time span after Apple released the first beta of iOS 5 to the developers. Some of these includes the UISettings, WeeTwitter, WidgetTask, MusicCenter, SpringPrefs, RSSWidget and WeeFacebook.
BBSettings is another interesting widget for the iOS 5 notification center developed by the Manuel Gebele – the same guy who developed the WeeFacebook. After installing the widget first thing you will notice is the distinct resemblance to the popular SBSettings app and UISettings another popular widget that we covered earlier for the iOS 5 notification Center. Basically it combines the best ideas from both theses applications and puts all the useful features in single widget for the user to have a quick access.
Here are the different modules of the application with their purpose.
You can easily configure which are your most used apps.
Shows you all current running apps.
Shows you various device information.
Simply activate or deactivate some most used features.
Configure your most used Apps. Control your volume and display brightness. Fake your operator.
For more details and download latest version of the BBSettings widget head over to the official webpage.
Thanks to the Manuel Gebele for the Tip!
Please note that this is jailbreak tweak and requires that you have an iOS 5 powered iPhone and jailbroken.
