XDA forum member named mohammadN has released an interesting application that allows Android device users to run an Java games or applications (J2ME, MIDP etc.) on their device. This application is called JBED and is basically a Java emulator for Android that allows to run Java games and apps natively on the Android platform. JBED can be easily flashed using clockworkmod to any device. Although currently it has been only tested on the HTC Wildfire by the developer but should work on other Android devices as well. JBED can be downloaded for free form the relevant thread on the XDA forum. Here is a direct link for the JBED app.
