Well, we knew this for sure that Amazon in the process of jumping on the bandwagon of Android powered tablets. We also knew for sure that they are going to release a very cheap tablet to compete with the likes of Nook Color and outdo the much more expensive Samsung Galaxy Tab and even the relatively cheaper Asus Eee Pad Transformer. Now we have confirmed that Amazon Kindle branded Android powered tablet is for real via TechCrunch. This is because the guys their have one of these for hands-on testing! Only tidbits that have been disclosed so far include the facts that tablet is a 7-incher capacitive touch screen based, and is in full color. According to them Amazon Kindle Tablet is similar to the BlackBerry PlayBook in terms form-factor. Device also supports multi-touch gestures using two fingers. Also, it expected to be released some time in November this year.
