Motorola DROID RAZR | How to Root Motorola Droid RAZR Using One Click Root Method [Guide]

Motorola Droid RAZR is one of the new high-end Android based handsets that are going to be released by Motorola in US very soon. It comes with Android 2.3.5 and great Super AMOLED screen, 1 GB of RAM, dual-core TI OMAP 4430 1.2 GHz processor and an 8MP camera. Motorola Droid RAZR is one of the true competitors for the popular Samsung Galaxy SII (S2). Interestingly the device has not been even released in US yet and we have already the root confirmation for it! This marks it as yet another device that have been rooted even before its official release (other one being the Samsung Galaxy Nexus). Rooting method for the Motorola Droid RAZR is pretty simple to follow as described below:

Motorola Droid RAZR Rooting Procedure

1) First download the drivers for your Motorola device so that you can connect it to the windows PC.

2) Now download the rooting tool called MotorolaOnceClickRoot and then extract it to a folder using WinRAR or any other archiving software.

3) Now on your Motorola Droid RAZR just enable the USB debugging mode from the Settings > Applications > Development.

4) Connect the device to the PC and select the Charge Only from Notification pull-down.

5) Now just go the the folder where extracted the contents of the MotorolaOnceClickRoot and then execute the MotorolaOneClickRoot.exe.

6) Now just follow the on-screen instructions to get the root access on your Motorola Droid RAZR device.

    Doesn’t appear to work for me, anyone else have a positive? This oneclick is for 2.3.4, Razrs are shipping with 2.3.5
