Just a few days back, we reported about the Asus Transformer Prime as most likely being the first Android tablet to be released with the Tegra 3 (Kal-El) SoC from NVidia. Of course, the stunning feature of the Tegra 3 is that it will be industry first quad-core processor supporting some impressive power efficiency features as well to save the battery when heavy computation is not involved. Early leaked benchmarks already that performance wise any mobile device based on this SoC will crush the current high-end competition from the likes of Samsung Galaxy SII (S2) and other top Android devices.

Now today, Pocket Now is reporting that HTC Edge might very well be the industry first quad smartphone based on Tegra 3 (Kal-El). They also report on some of the juicy specs of the device.
