Home button on Apple iPhone is in fact the ONLY physical button that is available on the front-side and is used extensively during the normal operation i.e., to exit out of currently running application, accessing the multi-tasking bar and so on. This is in contrast many Android phones where we may have more button on our disposal. For example, on my Samsung Galaxy S2 (SII) I have three button on front – two additional buttons apart from typical Home button. They can be indispensable once you get used to them particularly the Back button. Furthermore, Home button on many Android phones is much responsive as compared to the one on iPhone, iPad etc. This is particularly true after some active use of the phone. iDownloadBlog has posted an interesting trick to recalibrate the Home button on the iPhone to make it more responsive. Judging from the user comments it seems that this trick also works for the iPad!
So lets have a look:
Step 1. First open a stock app such as Weather or Calculator on your phone.
Step 2. Press and hold the Power button until Slide to Power-off message appears on-screen and release the button.
Step 3. Now press and hold the Home button until the until Slide to Power-off message disappears on-screen disappears and currently running stock app force quits.
Step 4. Done! Now experience a much more responsive Home button on your iPhone or iPad because it has been recalibrated.
