Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is one of the high-end Android tablets that have been released recently. It is targeted mainly at the performance tablet market rather than the cheap low cost tablets such as Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet. It also happens to be one of the first Android based quad-core tablet based on NVidia Tegra 3 (Kal-E1) SoC which is a successor to the hugely popular Tegra 2. As we reported some time ago in performance benchmarks it’s the most powerful Android tablet available in terms of raw computing power. If you happen to be a proud owner of one of these and wants to root it get the true customizability available on the Android platform you are in luck since today we want to present a tool named viperMOD Primer that allows the rooting and un-rooting procedure for the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime dead simple and literally a child’s play!
viperMOD Primer tool actually uses the NachoRoot in the background to actually root the device, but makes the process much more automated in the mean-while. Usage of the viperMOD Primer is really simple. First download the tool from here and install the drivers included in the zip file. Afterwards execute the application and choose an option from the presented menu i.e., Root, Unroot or Exit. And that’s it. As you can see, it can also unroot the device if desired by the user. Every time you run the root process, it will download a fresh copy of NachoRoot (could be updates, even if the tool isn’t updated).
For future updates on the viperMOD Prime or discussion go the XDA forum thread dedicated for this tool.
