I wouldn't be too surprised if Samsung at the end will release completely different from the specs are so much rumored about.

Hi guys, I'm trying to root my sgs2, but I haven't been able to match the kernel versions because what appears under About Phone > Kernel Version is 2.6.35.7
It doesn't show the rest of the freaking string and I'm going crazy now.
Any advise would be highly appretiated.

Hi,

I have tried this several times, but after the area goes yellow in Odin, I click start, and after a few seconds, the title bar reads "Not Responding" and nothing happens. I have left it plugged in for as long as 10 minutes with no signs anything is going on on the phone or in Odin.

Should the phone be wiped first? Could I have installed something that is blocking the upgrade.
